FORMAT: In a foursome, each two-man team will play a two-man team from the opposing side in a net better-ball match play match. The lowest net score between the two players is the Team score. Handicaps will be “wheeled” off of the lowest golfer in the foursome. Each match is worth 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss.
At the same time, and with the same ball, each player will also play an individual net better-ball match play match against an opposing team individual (lower handicap plays lower handicap and higher handicap plays higher handicap). Handicaps will be “wheeled” off of the lower golfer in the pairing. Each match is worth 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss.
So, in each foursome there are three matches being played --- one two-man and two individual matches for a total and six points up for grabs for your team in each foursome.

Teams will be drafted the Thursday or Friday night before the tournament by the designated Team Captains. The captains will alternate drafting players onto their team, then they will alternate putting up their pairings of two-man teams against the opponent’s two-man teams to form foursome pairings. Tee sheets will be sent out the day before the match. Be flexible with your availability because you may get an early or late tee time.
The Team with the highest overall score will share the total tournament fees to be divided evenly among the team. In the event that each side earns the same number of points then Team A Captain and Team B Captain will square off in an on-course sudden death playoff.
